As the days of summer wind down, the colors of native vegetation take on a nuanced palette. The trees vary slightly begin to lose their chlorophyll and the bright greens begin to moderate. West Texas starts the slowdown of growth and the colors of autumn, although not here yet, there is a whisper of their approaching arrival.
